    Evening people

Over the last few weeks I've noticed that sometimes (randomly) When i lock the car as normal with the remote key, the indicators havent been flashing

Usually you press the lock button once, the indicators flash once and the blinker underneath the rear view mirror flashes a few times...

However, now when I lock it, it just locks all the doors, the indicators dont flash at all, but the blinker goes crazy for about 10 seconds, flashing really fast

Any advice or ideas on this would be GREATLY appreciated

    Cheers

    Oh and happy bonfire night!

Once locked on one press, go round and check all the doors and bootlids to make sure there isn't something open.
Also, if there is an alarm light somewhere, check to see it's it's also a button, as some have a system where you press the alarm light and it can deactivate the interior sensors.

Is there any possibility that someone could have a look in an E46 owners book at the alarm section to see if it says anything about this?

I seem to have misplaced mine

I have the same problem on my e46 323i, found the problem just don't know how to fix it. The car doesn't seem to know if the drivers side front or rear door is open or closed. It doesn't display the open door symbol on the dash when you open the drivers side doors but it does with the passenger side.

do you get the door open symbol when you open the doors? you might have the same problem as me.

doesnt seem to be anything in the manual about the problem your highlighting mate but just check that the little red light below your interior mirror is in the activated position
