Hi guys I'm new to this forum and I'm sorry if this has already been covered else where but I have a problem with the central locking on my passengers door, OK from the remote the passenger door wont unlock, everything else works (drivers door and boot lid) and if I open the passenger door from inside manualy and then lock via the remote it locks OK, I have been to my local BMW dealer who said it's the door catch/solinoid £90.00 which I brought, today I double checked with them explaining the same as above and now their not so sure, "Oh we would need to have it in and diagnose the fault"!! has anyone else had a fault like this ?? just wanted to make sure before I fit a £90.00 lock thats non refundable once it's ben fitted thanks in advance.

No they didnt, the guy that sold me the lock said that was the problem straight away, but when I double checked with them they did not want to commit to that being the fault I am goinig to just slave in the electrical side of the lock to see if that sorts it, that way I should be able to return the lock as it wont have any marks on it

Problem sorted, it was the lock well solinoid what a pita to do! window needs to either come out or at the very least disconected at the rear to be able to move the guide out of the way to get the lock in and out, still job done thanks
