Hi to everyone I'm new to this forum so please be gentle with me . After reading a thread from Joe9087 http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...how-to-t10732/ regarding DIY HID/Xenon conversion I bought myself one from ebay here is the picture I marked with letter A-H for all the wires

and this is the pictures from my car headlight.

If wire A connect to C
    B connect to D
    E connect to H

So my question is I can't figure out where should I connect wires F and G ? Looking at the pictures from my headlight the connector does not match F and G.
So can someone please advise what to do did I buy the wrong one ? This is the link to the product http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...:X:RTQ:GB:1123

Sorry if the question is too long and complicated any help will be really appreciated.

Should F and G connect to your existing headlight wiring? This will give you power and earth to the new balast and bulb.

F & g are the power supplies to the ballast and need to be put in to the original power supply to the headlamp, ie the female connection in the third picture

There's a good picture of what i mean at

Not a BM but the principle is the same, the white connector is the original headlamp supply and the F&G plug in to that.

Will the original connector that fitted into the bulb holder fit into A? If so you can disguard the other wires (C F and G)

Your kit has a loop back (C to F,G). That is used on HB4 lamps so your original HB7 wiring connector should plug into the ballast directly into A as Martyn says. Is that the case?

Yes really happy with the light

Very tight space on the drivers side to install the ballast. Also a bit of modification needed on wires F and G.
The original connector will not work if connect straight to the ballast so I connected A to C and F and G to original connector.
