I dont think the fans always on, its just that the temp in the car gets hot really quickly, the climate control isnt doing anything?? i can press the windscreen button, and i can hear the fan turn on fully, it will blow the windscreen fine??

So, if you manually turn the fan up or down, the auto light disappears, right?

And when you manually turn the blower up or down, does it go high and low accordingly?

Well that rules out the final stage unit. At a guess, I think you may have a faulty heater core sensor.

Just to add something in. The auto light (on the button) should only go out when you press the feet/face/top vent buttons and the "AUTO" on the display should only go out when you manually adjust the fans up and down. Pres auto again and it should come back on.
