    Hey guys need your help
    i own a BMW 318i it was working just fine until last few days i parked the car to go to a store and my return it couldn't start again.
    The diagnosis team report this error

    285A Variable Valve gear Monitoring servomotor
    2866 variable valve gear learning stop necessary
    2811 locan CAN communication error
    27f3 No CAN message from valve tropic control unit

    please help me out on what do you think about the errors

    Is the engine turning over quickly? sounding like it has a loss of compression? I ask this as these engines are known to jump the cam timing.

    I'd check the conections on the vvt module and the relay that clips behind it. Sounds like it's lost power or fried if it aint communicating.
