    just wondering if anyone can help only started a few days ago when you unlock car with the fob the windows go down on there own then you have to lock it with fob to the windows to go back up again the door handles have been off would this have caused it cheers paul

    i was gonna say if they go down a bit its like the vert for closing of door
    bit all the way down is odd

    Are you by any chance pressing the open button twice ?

    I had my E46's set up so that it did this, means you can get into the car easier when in car parks.
    2013, Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, PDK, Sports Exhaust, Chrono, etc, etc

    This happens with other e46 too when you press the open button twice as mentioned above. Is your button sticking if not being pressed twice?

    Try your spare fob, and does it do it as you manually unlock car? Might be able to narrow down the problem with replies to those ^^

    Edit: What do you mean the door handles have been off?

    Ther have been a number of posts concerning windows playing up over the last couple of weeks. It may be the snow/ice/freezingness playing havoc with the door switches.

    when you turn the key it just spins like attached to nothing does the same withe spare fob cheers paul
