Hi Please can you help, im in the middle of repairing my 316 ti se compact on a 2002 plate, I have had to replace the lamda sensor housing (lamda sensor to the rear of the exhaust) but I have noticed the wires look different, from the wireing loom, and the sensor, does anyone know which order they go in, it is a 4 pin plug with the numbers 1- 4 on each of the holes for the wires to go in, as soon as I have done this I can get someone out to clear the codes, caus I still havent managed to start it, hopefully I wont have to change the pop off lead.

    Thanks

It seems members trying to upload directly from their computers are suffering

I will raise this issue with Admin and see if we can get it rectified as soon as possible

I upload from a photobucket account where I store forum related photo's as I find it easier and quicker as I am a photo whore

Here's one to make your unhappy moment a little more interesting;0)

On a sensor after the cat the wire colours are usually:
    Pin 1: Red/White, heater +ve
    Pin 2: Green, heater -ve
    Pin 3: Black, Sensor ground
    Pin 4: Yellow, Sensor signal
