I'm having a problem with the heater fan, however new BMW fsr hasn't made a difference nor has a replacement control panel.

If i leave it for unto a week, it all starts working again, fan powers up when power applied directly.

Totally stumped as to the next course of action.

Checked wiring going to fsr and all the wires are doing what they should.

On the output side if I put and earth to the green and black wire the motor runs and continues to run as it should even when i disconnect the earth, also when I switch the power on and off from the ignition and the control panel.

Once left for several hours the motor now will not run.
