I found this mic (see below) in my car and I was wondering if anyone could identify it for me. At first I though it was part of the OEM car phone but I cant find any reference to it on Real OEM. Can anyone shed some light on it.

If it is part of a hands free kit where are the other parts most likely to be. I'm taking the dash trim off tomorrow to CF wrap (see my project thread), so I can have a good rummage then and see if I can trace any wires.

That looks like a Nokia mic, see if you can trace the wiring then you may find the box.

Cheers for the info. It looks like its from a Nokia CARK-91 kit and the box is somewhere in the centre console or behind the stereo.

If its a wired kit there should be a cradle, if it's bluetooth there should be a circular button stuck to the dash somewhere.

It's not unusual to find that people have removed a phone kit because it doesn't support their current phone, leaving half the bits behind. Investigating my Mercedes 500SL I found 3 phone kits installed, none of them working! It could be that you only have the mic.
