Fuse f50 is out and fan has stopped. Removed a/c unit and compartment below it but i cant see the relay....only some wires and connector blocks....is there another cover that needs to come off?

You must have the later Heater controller than...earlier models had them behind the glove box. In that case, no relay so your FSU is faulty.

    Nightmare!!!

Managed to get myself a new blower resistor and got to work on it. since i,m not to nimble anymore i took out the front seat.....only way i could get binto a decent working position. Anyway cover is off and small motor removed. Also removed the screw holding the black plastic cover attached to the linkage and then I got stuck......cannot get this cover off. Help!!!! It moves about but i cant dislodge it!

ps it looks like the torx screws holding the resistor in are not there.....looks like it is held in by a plastic clip.
