Hi, im hoping someone might be able to help. Recently when I turn on the aircon on the lowest power setting, after about 5-8 mins it automatically turns itself up to the the highest power setting and starts blasting out air. There is no change on the digital display, it still says I have the aircon on the lowest setting.

Im just wondering if anyone has seen something similar? If I turn the aircon off for a while, then turn it back on, it can take a short while to happen again. It seems to me that once the circuits(?) get hot it loses control of the settings?

Turning it off would allow it too cool down.... and as I said before it can take a while to happen again. So I think something might be overheating
