My outside sensor shows minus 40 degree. So I bought a new sensor and the told me is on the near side fixed in the spoiler.I found the fixing hole but no sensor or cable. So I looked on the other side and found the plug but no sensor. So I extended the cable to the other site where the fixing hole in positioned. Connected it all up but no joy.Still shows minus 40. I got 12 volts on the cable and the sensor lets about 8 volt through.Well have I got the wrong cable and there is one on the near site or is the plug on the off site the one and they let the sensor just dangle? I cant find any plugs on the near site. Or is there something else wrong???????????

These are always getting ripped out when you park front end on to a low kerb. The outside air temp sender is on the left hand side and the sensor which turns on the heated screen washers at +2 degrees, is on the right. Its not unusual for the sensor to get ripped out with the wiring and sometimes part of the inner wing cover as well.

I found the cable now.I couldn't find it because the previous owner put black insulation tape all over the existing fog light cables and covert them all. Cut the tape off and found the 2 cables for the sensor. Connected it all up and happy days all working. Thanks for the info
