Hi recently i have had a flat battery a couple of times, i jump started the car and recharged batery but the battery went flat again.

I had the battery and alternator tested and both seamed fine.

I then started to worry something was running the battery flat. I remembered that recently the climate controll was acting up.

When driving with the heating turned off the fan would still blow hot air and after switching the engine off and locking the car i could still hear noises from the heater.

I since continued to remove the fuses for the heater, along with the interior lights and boot light as i had a full boot and i thought maybee the boot was not closing propery and the light was stayling on. Plus i also removed the fuse for the radio.

Since i have had not had a flat battery for a week with exactly the same driving paterns, so i think i have narrowed down the problem.

Although now i cannot get the climate control unit to turn on.

On a cold night i need the fan on and the rear heated windscreen as it is dangerous otherwise. I have replaced all the fuses before driving, checked and double checked the positioning and state of all fuses and all are ok.

I have hot air coming through the vents (although not blowing) but no controls are working on the climate control unit. The lights come on when the cars lights are on but no controls and no buttons work.

Are there any other fuses anywhere i should check? Can anyone help me narrow down the problem. Sorry for the long winded explination.

I think it could be the Final Stage Resistor that you need to check

Sorry for the late reply been away. How do I check this? The heated seats have now stopped working it seams that everything is slowly stopping working one by one. Would that resister cause problems with other electrics in the car or just the climate control. Thanks again.
