The central locking on my car has stopped working off the key fob, but still works when i use it in the door. i've tried getting a new key reprogramed but that didn't work. I've had an auto electrician look at it but he din't have a clue, took it to my bmw garage and they said it might be something in the rear spoiler as its a touring and they fill up with water, but theres no way i'm paying there prices for them to tell me it just is that. Anyone ideas???

Could also be the body control module, if your sparky can't suss it out then find a better one(no offence intended) or take it to a good BMW specialist
