Hi I have a couple of probs with my car

    1) Passenger mirror doesn't adjust in down mode drivers is okay most times but if not used can be a bit irratic adjusting down. Is it the switch or the mirror?
Also should mine have parking assist?

    2) Drivers window opens no probs but it sticks part the way when closing, either manually and auto any ideas?

For the window I'd try lubing up the window runners with some Silicon spray.

As for the mirror problem, does the mirror adjust down when you select reverse? Bearing in mind that you have to have the switch clicked over in the correct postition.

It is a motor problem in the mirror...I have done this repair before by replacing the motors.

I tried the switch in both directions and the mirror did not move down in reverse, so i guess next move is to change the mirror motor.

    Thanks all for your advise

Will let you know what happens

The mirror will only dip in reverse if you have electric memory seats and mirrors, simply flick the button to the drivers side and select reverse. However this wouldnt work on your car even if you had this function because of your faulty mirror as NealP has already said. The mirror motors do bugger up on these models, some of the mirrors have a ribbon cable between the motor and the eletrical connector inside the door, these split causing intermittent faults, they do however come as part of the motor. Hope you manage to sort it out.
