It's the first time I too am posting, so please forgive me if I'm doing anything incorrectly.

My key and drivers side door barrel were not working. This morning, I have received a replacement key but when unlocking the car all the windows roll down. However, I too have a problem with the drivers side door barrel. Seems like a similar problem. Could you please advise?

Needs the door panel removing and then the handle removing to see which part is playing up.

    No, dont; remove door panel.

On the side of the door is an oval plastic plug. remove this and you will find a hex socket screw. undo this and you will be able to remove the door lock barrel.

    This barrel needs repairing.
I have started a photo procedure, but I haven't had time to do it properly yet.

Repair kits are avialable from me or from ebay traders.
