    I was told by a BMW specialist that it would cost £450 to replace the circuit board or something?.all the other lights work ie warnings etc.anyone think this could be true? was priced this 2 years ago so still not fixed as makes me sick to believe it. four hundred and bloody fifty quid !!!! what happend to good old fashion light bulbs!!!

    Do a binnacle test, hold down the mileage reset button with the ignition off, turn the ignition key to position 1, Wait for TEST to appear and then release reset button, you will then need to press the mileage reset button once more then watch as the binnacle does a self test.

    Do they light up?

    I'd get that to an electronics specialist, if it has blown LEDs lighting it, it can be repaired
