i have been having problem with my boot door, normally when you lock the car with the remote you just walk away and be fine, but sometimes my car alarm goes when i checked it tried locking it again after opening it, it goes again. sometimes it does it sometimes it dont, when i checked it it seems like that the sensor for the boot lid or the warning sign on the dash takes a bit of time to switch off even when i try to open and close it again it takes about 5 secs at times for the warning lights to switch off. we just bought the car last febuary i know that it has 1 year warranty from the dealer, but im just wondering if anybody can help me or some advise maybe so i can try sort it out myself, me and my dad check the boot lock basically just the parts you see when you open the boot everything seems fine but im wondering why its doing it??

Sounds like you have a problem with the micro switch located in the actuator assembly. Mention this to your dealer.
