An issue has occured with my key..
It woked this morning when I left work for home but when I went to use it today(14.oo) all the remote functions ceased to work,no door opening, boot opening or locking.
The doors open with the key and it works ok,so it's not the end of the world but where shall I start?
NB..this may be coincidence but I noticed yesterday on the way to work radio interference which I've never experienced before?Thanks...

Well if your key the diamond shaped one its probably dead and you will need a new one from the dealer, but i believe there is a how-to somewhere explaing how to change the battery but its a bit fiddly.

forgot to mention they recharge when the key is in the ignition but when they get to a certain age they just die.

    Hi
I had a simular problem Id say the battery in your key is low, you need to drive the car to charge the battery in the key , after your drive turn the engine off, after a few seconds then turn the key to position 1 and off again , take the key out of the ignition straight away and hold down the lock button on key and press the unlock button 3 times and let go of the lock button, the doors should lock and unlock and your key should be programmed , if this doesnt work id say the battery in the key is knackered there is a good video on you tube how to replace the battery

    regards
    Ray

I used this guy and locking now working fine. Jim
PS Pull fuse 60 incase you get locked out, key will still open drivers door.
The older I get the wrong bit gets stiff !!
