    Hi everyone,

I'm a forum newbee so firstly would like to say hello to you all from sunny Cardiff!!

Bought myself a nice compact over the weekend but already having problems, I would be very grateful for any help.

    1. Airbag light is on ?

    2. The near side headlight, it works fine on side lights, dipped headlight doesnt work, instead the indicator stays on ? The indicator will flash when signalling but then stays on after turning ?? Has anyone experienced anything like this before ??

Apart from those niggles, I'm loving my new toy !!

Air bag light, search the forums for "seat occupancy sensor" as it could be this. Also have this light on at the moment.

Headlight sounds like a crossed wire. Infact Im sure I read about that problem somewhere else before, cant remember what it was though sorry !

Welcome to the foums by the way

Keep an eye on your rear wiper motor, apparent common fault on the compact.

airbag light could also be a loose connection under the seat.

Hope you got this fixed by now, anway if you have a failed bulb it is normal (on a compact at least) for other bulbs to 'take over' their function for safety reasons.
If I disconnect my front side light (or put in a LED bulb) the indicator is run at a reduced brightness so that one side of the car isn't left dark. From the sound of things your dipped beam H7 was blown.
