    hi guys when i unlock the car the passenger door button seems to sick after a couple of trys it opens ok any ideas of fix ?

    Sounds like either the door mechanism/solenoid needs lubing up OR the solenoid is getting weak.

    Has the car had the door trim panel off at all and it's been doing this since?

    Could also be the GM5 Module i`ve repaired some that are doing this

    no the panel has never been off,but will try it and give it an oil up and see what happens,any idea how much it would cost for new parts?

    ihad his problem with the drivrs side when i bot my car tho he garage repaired it free...i believe a new lock was approx£117!!!that was a year ago and now sometimes it has started doin it again...i spray wd40 into the lock area now a again and it goes fine

    cost stated for new lock/catch mechanism is about right. Mine did similar and finally gave up altogether. Locked fine but wouldnt unlock from the fob.

    If memory serves, the coupe is a bit harder to do than my compact. Window runner gets in the way of the swapover. Otherwise its a fairly simple job.
