    Hi,

The air system in my car has started 'pulsing' on my car blowing the air fast then slow and making noises to match....has anyone experienced this or have any idea what causes it or how to fix it?

It makes no difference what speed the fan is set to, it just pulses more or less powerfully accordingly....

    Thanks,
    Andy

It may well be down to the FSU, Final Stage Unit which is a resistor for the fan speeds. It can be a common item for failing. Perform a search on here for final stage unit and see if other peoples problems are the same as yours,

It does sound like the final stage unit but haven't managed to find it on realoem. Any ideas how to find and change it.....eg how much is it and how complicated a job to change?

    Thanks,
    Andy

Here is a good pdf guide for how to DIY change the final stage unit. Hope it's helpful, looking forward to see your DIY job pictures.
