Hello I have just installed Towing Electrics TEB7AS 7 way bypass relay into my BMW E46 MY2000 Touring, I believe it is installed as per instructions but when the indicators are used the buzzer sounds when not under load (no trailer plug fitted) and when using a test light it doesn`t light up but the plug wire has 11.5v. Does it need the trailer plug fitted to test installation or is this type not compatible with car. Advice please.

Re-checked the wiring and turned out to of been a bad earth, all works fine now and much cheaper than the specific car wiring loom. Cheers
