Hi there not long just got this car and today i noticed i have NO abs light or NO asc light when i start the car, wwhen i push asc botton the light still doesnt light up, so i took car on a piece of land to see if these functions were working! asc seems to be working but abs isnt?? i checked all related fusses for these and all are present and in good order where else can i check? Any other reasons why these 2 lights will NOT light up on my dash? plenty on the forums explaining what to do when they light up but cant find anyhting about when these dont light up anytime! any help will be good before i have to fork out and put it into a dealers, thanks in advance stephen

I would say that someone has purposely covered the lights up before selling the car, you should get the ABS fault codes read at a BMW specialists and then check the instrument cluster out, remove it and see if it has been tampered with.

I have found some previous owner has removed the 30 amp fuse and also removed the dash led's to the abs, handbrake and DSG warning.
BMW do not sell the led's but will sell a dash board for 480 + VAT. What a company!!!
Can the led's be bought and fitted elsewhere?

    Regards,

    Mark.
