Hi Ryan, The oil level sensors are prone to going and usually give the tell-tale signs of an amber oil light for 10 secs or so after start up.........not heard of it happening when the revs drop though .

Sounds like something electrical as your actual oil level is ok.

The red light is the oil pressure sensor...sounds like your oil pressure switch needs replaced.

Something you can do yourself as it will probably take you 5 mins tops. The switch sits at the bottom of the oil filter housing, so unclip the cable attached to the switch, unscrew the switch from housing, replace and clip cable back on.

Sounds good , I would get the oil pressure switch changed asap, if it still illuminates then you have some debris stuck under the pressure relief valve most likely
