my mate has checked the codes with his snap on scanner and showing faulty airbag control module ...switched the light off but came on again a few days later...
can i fit a second hand module in? where is the module and is there anything i need to know so as not to set the bags off?

Tbh, you should have it read by a BMW specific scanner which will bring up BMW SRS codes as to which part of the control module circuit is failing. Most common is occupancy pressure sensor. The module will need coding and can be found under the centre console below the handbrake.
