    got a bmw without keys so got a new key from bmw,it opens boot but not doors battery in the boot so have tried charging it but it dosnt seem to be charging,have put jump leads on battery from van to try to get doors open but still cant get in,anybody think what might be wrong

    Seriously, if you bought the key from BMW, why doesn't that said key open the doors then? ...you talking remote?

    no not the remote,iv read that if it was dead locked with the remote then the key will not open it,dont know if thats right.i got the car at auction with no keys so got a new key from bmw hoping it would work but so far i can only open the boot,got a differrent battery on it and still wont open is there any way of opening it if it is dead locked

    I think it's best to ask the dealers on that one
