    Hello all,

    I recently fitted a car specific Westfalia towbar wiring loom to my E39 and it's since then (I think) that I have lost my reverse and rear fog lights, all other lights are working perfectly.

    Can't seem to find any fuses blown and I have no warnings from the LCM.

    If anyone has any ideas I'd be greatful!

    Cheers!

    Seems strange!

    Start from the problem then work backwards;
    -Check the bulbs (never know )
    -Remove the bulb holder and check power/ground to the contacts
    -Check power on the wiring loom/plug

    That should be enough to get you started and rule out a number of possibilities!
    Where did the wiring loom go into?

    EDIT: Auto/Manual?

    Cheers for the reply! Checked the lot, all was fine, decided I'd take the trailer module that came with the kit out of the loom and they worked again! Plugged the trailer module back into the and... it still works! Gremlins!!!!!!
