    Hey

A friend at uni has an 04 E320, and i love the way his side and fog lights come on when he unlocks it, and his boot can open fully too.

Is there anyway to get the ligths to come on with the 2000 e39? I know the boot can't be opened unless you fit pistons and some other geniun wiring, but surely theres a way to hook the lights up similar to the interior ones?

I'm thinking a courtesy light link up with a power diode in line. Then again, you probably need to include a switched circuit so the head lights don't come on when when you switch on the interior lights. So you are looking at a power transistor set up as well

Clearly not something im likely to be able to do ha. I was looking at IbusRR which somehow allows editing of the cars computer.

Here is a video of what i would love.
