Hi all, just joined the site and have introduced myself in the introductions section.
I am looking for some advice.
I have had a dead battery now for about a week, due to a faulty hedgehog. I have ordered a replacement and now disconnected the faulty one until I replace it. I have charged the battery and all appears to well now, with the battery at least.
The car has been parked out side in the hideous amount of snow and subzero teperatures we have had. Once I got the car started and running the Engine Deterioration in exhaust values symbol appeared and has stayed on. I have not had the car out for a run yet as it wont make it out of the parking space yet, but have had it running for almost an hour.
Is the light likely to go out after the car has had a decent run?
What has been the likely cause of the fault?
Will I need to visit my local indy to have the fault codes read/diagnosed, or has anyone had similar issues?
Just thought I would ask first as it has never been on before the battery had drained and its spent a week sitting in the snow and subzero teperatures.
Thanks in advance for any assistance offered.
