Can anyone help. My headlights don't seem to go up high enough and therefore won't project far enough down the road. The adjustment from the dash does work as I can see them move when I play with the switch. Cheers, Phil.

You could go to your local MOT centre and have your lights adjusted. YOu can't really just mess about with them as you may set them up illegally and end up dazzling everyone

Duh!!. Obvious really, I had one train of thought i.e it must be an electrical issue when in fact it's probably a case of turning a few screws.......now I can remember drawing all over my fathers garage door trying to sort the lights on my MK1 Escort,mmmmm.......

    Been there, done that

That's all well and good if you know one side is correct. It's soo much easier to let the garage set it up with the correct equipment as they'll do it in a fraction of the time.

It amazes me that cars only have to have this sort of adjustment done once a year The winter is fast approaching and i'm sure many of us will get dazzled due to incorrect headlamp alignment

Oh well, i'm sure it won't be too long before we have to have an MOT every six months
