    Hey all.

Really need the help of someone who knows the electrical systems well in a 330d.

When scanned with DIS my car comes up with a fault code that says map sensor short to b+. Its come up with this code for a while DIS stares that it happens at roughly 2800rpm. Ive replaced the sensor twice and if comes up with the same thing. The wiring hascalso been tested and visually checked with no chaffing or breaks.

Also over the last few days the fuel pump relay hasnt been clicking when i turn the key. I replaced the relay but it didnt fix the fault.

With the key turned, if the pump doesnt prime i can tap the blue dde relay and it primes without fail so i need to replace this relay.

My question is this. Does the map sensor wiring, at any point, pass through the dde relay? I know its the main ecu relay so i guess it coulx cause allsorts of strange behavior.

If should give you some wiring diagrams in DIS when you go into the "test plans" and go hunting for faults.

I don't think it will pass through it, the DME relay should be a main 12v feed to the ECU, and the MAP sensor would most likely run from a 5v power supply from the ECU.

The map sensor has a 12v feed, a 5v signal wire and an earth wire according to info ive picked up along the way from various places, how true it is i dont know.

If theyre in DIS il have a look, thanks im stilk very new to using it
