    Hi everybody
new to this recently bought bmw318ise 2000. I am really impressed but when I use the rear heated window the reception on the radio goes. Someone said today it happens on his bmw but reception returns after 20/30 secs. I tried that but no reception remains rubbish till the heater is switched off. Is this a common fault? Halfords have suggested a signal booster. Has anyone else tried this? Does it work?
    Thanks in anticipation

Check the aerial lead where it goes in the back off the stereo as I've heard there's a small wire that can break and causes this, also do all your heated rear window strips work?

Is that more of the common problem with these as I've seen this problem a few times on the forum but haven't seen a resolve for it posted up from somebody (I know about the aerial being built in the window, what causes them to go bad? you had the problem at work? )
