hi thier im new to bmw iv jus bought my 1st one and i love it 2bits, the issue i have is the central lock button in the car not unlocking the doors and also the key fob unlock button, the only way i have access to the car is the actual key to get in but then still all the other doors are deadlocked, but sometimes the button on the key fob works and unlocks everything like thiers no problems, im broke as a joke and live in london...so please if any1 could point me to the right direction or good garage (cheap) that would be much appreciated.
    p.s i only have the one key and i have a 2000 (w) 318i se saloon.

    cheers.

Could be the central locking control module playing up

When the car is unlocked with the key do you hear the central locking unlock all the doors????

Was the car dead locked(double locked)?

Also what happens when you put the key in the door barrel and try turning it?
