Hi i seem to have a fault with my electric windows, i had a replacement GM5 unit put into my car about 2 weeks ago but as i dont sit in the back, one of my kids noticed that you have to flip the switch the opposite way to the other windows to make the window go up and down, does this mean i still have a problem with my GM5 unit?

I think that there is a good chance that the GM5 unit is at fault. The switch sends an up or down signal to the GM5 and that controls the windows. I cant see any reason why someone would swap the wires on the switch and as you've just had a repair on the GM5it's got to be number one suspect. I would let them have another look at it.

Do you still have the old GM5? Maybe you could try that one to see if the fault is with the replcment GM5. Was the replacment coded to your car?
