On locking the car using the remote, not every time, but usually only the most inconvenient, the car wont unlock with the remote. Its a 99 328ci and the only way into the car after this does happen is to unlock the car manually and this only does the drivers side, meaning the passenger will have to climb over, and when the passenger happens to be my 6 and a half month pregnant missus, its something of a problem. You can't unlock the car from the inside either as i've tried but if anyone has had the same or anything similar happen to theirs, then could you please shine a light as to what it may need.
    Thanks
    Jonno

Makes it so much easier for other members to locate, view and ultimately offer assistance

Sounds possibly like the central locking relays have failed, theres more info and diagnosis in this thread http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...ervice-t16743/

Cheers for that, i think it might be more than just the one relay now as the wipers are intermittent too, hmmmmmm the more i think about it the more its costing, so im now gonna stop thinking about it, bite my lip and take it down the shops for some goodies

Did you get this one resolved? It is a bit of a dififuclt one with coupe's. What about you fuel filler. Does that lock and unlock?
Most coupe faults I have seen, you are still able to open from inside. If it is still deadlocked AND the fuel filler is not working, it suggests GM5 fault.
