Now that is confusing isn't it?

I will check the SI list to see if it was upgraded

I can clearly see 20 amp on your posted card, but my card deffo says 15 amp!

Any info you can find on this would be great NealP

Ive used the lighter and my Sat Nav without any problems so far!

But i have thought of getting a USB adaptor,so fuse rating may be crucial??

my card is smaller than that half the size but longer, would be nice to know why some say 15 and some say 20 , nothing major but nice to know eitherway lol

NealP card has been enlarged and shown in two halfs for clarity!

NealP is looking into why there appears to be two ratings!

It would appear older E46s have 15 amp ratings! NealP is looking to see if there was a manufacturer recall, upgrade sort of thing happened!!

Ok, there was a change from Sept 1999 to the 20A fuse. Doesn't really mention why though

No worries Pierre . Now I know that the central locking fuse on my E90 is 15A and now BMW recommend fitting 20A because people were being locked out of their cars since it blew so easily . I found that reason, but not the cig one on the E46
