    hey iv searched but nothing, tried udeing my sat nav at cig lighter is giving no power and wont heat up , any ideas is this common.

    mines the same Ive seen a few on the net with the same so maybe it is, have you checked the fuse think the numbers 47..

    not checked fuses no , dont no were they are lol only got the car this morning

    they are in the glove box definatley fuse 47, I've seen a few on the net that just had the fuse blown worth checking should be a 20amp in there

    Id better up rate it then! But every thing works fine on the 15 amp!

    Recommended 20 amps, but I can't see a problem with using 15 amps mate

    Im just going by what was in it when i got the car! I suppose the worst it could do is blow sometime! lol I will uprate it for piece of mind though!

    just took alook and there is a blown 15 in there , and the card says 15amp but should i put a 20 in as it will only be used to run a tomtom

    Iv just checked my fuse card as there seems to be a bit of confusion here!

    My card says fuse 47 is 15 amps!

    So im leaving mine at that now and not uping it to 20 amp!

    Maybe later cars had a heavier load wired into them!

    Any ideas on this NealP
