The fan on my radiator doesn't seem to be working. I have been trying to find out what is causing the problem. I have checked fuse 37 which seems to be fine, so I started looking at the Timer Unit that leads straight onto the fan.
Please see below for the photo of the timer Unit from my radiator fan.
There are 3 wires going into the timer unit and 2 comming out. I applied a positive and negitive feed directly to the wires comming out of the timer unit and hey presto we have life.
I am guessing that the 2 wires going into this unit that are not the live are the switch for the unit. So I tried bridging these 2 connections to see if the fan would work but it didn't. Does anyone know if I am right in assuming that the fan should work with those 2 wires bridged?
