I would disconnect a mirror at a time, if the fuse stops blowing after driving then that's the culprit, you will then need to look into what is making it blow, process of elimination

i think the right one is the sucker. However i was just reading this thread http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...pear-to-t4733/ and i think the r/h/s mirror is not a genuine one as it does'nt look standard i.e. yesterday mornin when i finished work everything was frosted over the l/h mirror defrosted but the right one did'nt could this be the reason why the fuse keeps blowing?

Are you comfortable in removing the door panel??The wiring for the mirrors has probably been trapped when the panel was last removed,I have seen it a few times.

Not off the heated rear window switch, IIRC it's wired in with the heater control panel, I "think" there's a sensor that turns them on, lives in the brake duct, one sensor does outside temperature if you have a OBC and the other does heated wing mirrors and washer jets

    I have a 320D

My mirrors have stopped working too, have checked the fuses but appear to be ok.

The heated element is still working but not the electric adjust nor is the dipping to aid parking on the nearside mirror.

    Any ideas please?
