Hi guys I have installed some LED Angel eyes into my E46 but cant find any guides for wiring it into one of the older type M43 engines. I have wired the 'remote on' feature which works fine I just need to know which cable in the ECU box I need to tap into to have the Angel Eyes as DRL's? Any help will be appriciated, I dont really want to go messing around testing each wire (plus I dont have a voltometer of any kind :L ) I know there is a guide on here about fitting them into an older type E46 but it doesnt state which wire you have to use.
    Cheers. Ben.

Did this recently on my M54 engine.. is there not a wiring diagram with for the accessories circuit? Sorry not much help... would have thought they would use a similar colour for the wires in all BMW cars.. but maybe that would be to useful.. on my M54 lump/ecu it was a red and yellow wire with a white stripe.

Have you looked to see if there is one like it in yours, perhaps get hold of a volt meter and see if power goes through a wire when the ignition is on? Its all you really need I guess?

I have seen guides for the M54 Engine which say to use that wire, but there is not such wire on my car :( I guess I will just have to buy a volt meter and do it the hard way :/

Anyone know which wire it is before I go ahead and 'trail and error' it later today?
    Ben.
