Hi all, sorry if this is a repost but i couldnt find it...

    I have a '99 E46 316i with these tail lights...

Is it possible to take the lights from a newer saloon E46 and bolt straight in, or are they shaped differently?? The end result im after is to loose the orange from the light units, been looking at these

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

i believe they fit but you will need the buld holders aswell and am not sure about the wiring if the connectors are the same.

Well im looking at getting a Haynes Manual (have done with all my cars) just to help with things im usure of (bus mech by trade, so cars are slightly different). Would you think the wiring diagrams would be included seeming there meant to be for all E46 models (bar the usual top end)??

    Thanks

Like on the coupe's?? I do like them, alot! But think it would stand out too much seeming theyll be on a saloon, plus didnt think they'd fit, as wont the body be slightly different?

Not at all Tony, a few members on here have them fitted and they do look good. You have to buy saloon ones like this courtesy of my moderator friend http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...ost183945.html

I have tinted mine as a temp solution and will be getting either LED of a facelift kit (comes with holders etc) from E-bay. The pre-face rear lights are awful!lol
If it aint broke, don't fix it!!!
