    Hey guys,

me bro just bought a 530d. He took it to be jet washed and afterwards (after he turned the car off and back on) hes lost almost all electrics... whats happened?

    the car runs as normal

    Things working:
Radio works(display CLOCK only not working)
    Indicators outside
    brakelights work
    headlights mainbeam etc
    inside cabin lights

    DONT WORK:
Almost all instrument lights on the dash
Rear suspension auto adjuster, it looks slammed now.
sensors dont work (reversing light doesnt work either)

    all help is appreciated

    cheers

    thanks beating - it's appreciated.

Someone at his work said he's had similiar issues with another make of car and it was the Body Control Module... but googling that i can't find anything on it.

It's highly likely to be the ignition switch.
Mine has done it a couple of times too.
