    Hi all,

Newbie here, this has probably already been covered but here goes!

Just purchased a 1999 318is coupe and it has a dull analogue clock, can i fit an obc really easily i.e pull out and plug in?

I see its a re-wire for an 18 button but will an 8, or 11 just plug strait in?

P.s anyone got one goin cheap?

    Cheers, John

Worth a PM to 'Mess' on here. I bought a 8button MFD off him, shows the time and temp and he already wired it up to be plug and play off the head unit

let me check my messy garage as I bought one years ago with an steering wheel stalk and wires and it's probably still in the carrier bag I put it in collecting dust as I sold my E36 over year ago!

can't promise I will find it though as my garage is full to the brim of house stuff

    cheers mate,

I was hoping there was an easy option of just unplugging the dirty clock and putting the plug onto an 8 button instead of all the re-wiring?

if not then i'll have to give it a go!!

Look through the "Guides & How To" section, there are some excellent guides on this subject in there.
