    hi there just got a BMW 318is coup 1st BMW i have had don't thing i buy anything else now am hooked any way i have this little but problem with my o/s window have to hold down the button to make it go up if i don't it goes up half way then back down can u help plz thanks

    sounds like either the clips are broken or it is gettin caught on runners try some silicone lube on the rubbers

    318IS PROJECT
    On the to do list:
    Fit: Supercharger, New exhaust - get a twin pipe, Vibe front speakers , Front splitter repair/respray install

    To do :Poss refurb wheels, Sort dents, Put front lights back to OEM, Respray, Remap

    Sideways is the only way forward

    i do very much agree with this but out of curiosity how come it excludes the model like E36/E46... when you try an do a search? :( ps think you guys do a great job

    Unfortunately yes you can't search E36 or E46 on the forum, but when people are searching for similar problems, say "window fault" they can see if it's a E30 or a E36 that the thread relates to.

    Also E36 e.t.c. helps massively on Google.
