Hi new to the site just picked up a 1999 316i es,
The central locking works with the key in the door but with the fob nothing.
I have a fob with a grey and a red button and the key lights up when i press it with the bmw logo, can someone please explain witch button does what unlock alarm ect.
When i got home and had a look under the bonnet the alarm had been unplugged i have plugged it back in and nothing all the lights on the keys light up when i press them so i guess something needs to be reset if anyone can help that would be great.
