hello my question is... in my haynes manual it says the aerial and aerial amplifier are built into the rear wind screan area. so why is there an aerial on the roof aswell? i would like to fit a shark fin aerial so if anybody knows any thing about this please help me plus links to buy a sharkfin that works. unless i can take the aerial off the roof and fix a fake shark fin?

That's an aftermarket telephone aerial m8. At some point, your car must have had a phone fitted to it.

Actually, can you just check to see if it is drilled through? I don't think it is an inductive aerial, so I would stick a shark fin in it's place. Anything else like blanking caps, rubber stops/grommets would look odd.
