Check the wires that run through the rubber sheath that go from the car to the bootlid. Wires tend to brake in there causing all sorts of problems

Have you noticed any other faults or blown fuses?

How long are the replacement bulbs in before they blow?

It's weird. One goes, change it, then a week later the same one goes again.

Change it and this one lasts a month or two then it goes.

Change it and it lasts a week, change it and we're back to it lasting for a couple of months.

And it goes again - week/month cycle is freaky!

I would think it's a bad connection through the bulb holder, try a new holder
