    Hi
My problem is a little one. Fuse for the cig lighter blow, took old one out and inserted the new one.
The lighter still didnt work, so I rechecked what I had done and found that the fuse was loose at one of the terminals, so that fuse out and found that the connector had been pushed into the fuse box.
Is there any way of gaining access to the fuse box and if so how. This is my first Bimmer and very happy with it.
If I have posted this is wrong place ...... sorry

    Iain

Remove the glovebox and its surround, turn the white clips so the front of the fuse box hangs down, now unhook the rear hinges of the fusebox. You should now be able to see on one end of the fuse box is a blue plastic slide that runs right through the middle of the fuse board, this is what holds all the fuse contacts in place. slide it out and push the connector that has fallen out back into posistion then slide the blue slide back in. Becarefull when the slide is out as the other connectors will pull out if your not carefull. If the contacy pushes back out again then you will need to determine why thats happening. Hope this helps you out
