    Hi,

    Here's a brain scratcher.

Adding M5 folding mirrors to my 523 (non folding mirrors)

I have all the bits now, plugs are all the same etc but folding doesn't work when button pressed.

According to a guy on ebay i need to have the car reprogrammed to use the folding option.

Now - does anyone know if its the cars ECU to be programmed or is it just the module's in the doors that the mirrors plug into etc ?

I ask because im thinking having BMW reprogramme them is gonna be £££ but i can source modules from a car that had folding mirrors....

    Hi

Anyone confirm is there supposed to be only 1 module ?

Will fitting a different module make it fold ?
